They're distractions disguised as innovation. Be willing to say no.

Assess Business Readiness Alongside Technical Readiness

Technical readiness is obvious: do you have the data, infrastructure, and talent? Business readiness is what gets overlooked. Will the team actually use this? Can you measure the outcome? Does leadership understand what success looks like? We've seen brilliant AI pilots fail because the business owner wasn't aligned on what problem they were solving.
